Game Day

The annual field day at Rockwell Elementary is known as Game Day and the student rotate through fun activities and stations outside with their classmates before enjoying a cool-out style lunch with their friends and family!  Willa loved the different events but may have loved following around on the hill with the 4 other girls from her kindergarten class even more.  Rockwell Elementary is known as the “little school with the big heart” and it couldn’t be a more appropriate description of this special place!  We also took a picture of Willa with her beloved Mrs. Plunkett.  Mrs. Plunkett was Willa’s and Reed’s kindergarten teacher ply the teacher of hundreds more kindergarteners at Rockwell in her 39 years of teaching kindergarten there. This is her last year teaching and she is retiring at the end of the school year.  We are so grateful that both Reed and Willa had this truly special person in their lives.  They both are convinced that Mrs. Plunkett loved them the most of all and, the most incredible thing is that she’s the kind of teacher that leaves each of her students feeling loved the most of all ❤️
