The Last Last Day at Jowonio

Six years of Luton kids at Jowonio. 35,280 miles driven to and from school, 24 teachers and teaching assistants, 3 classrooms, 522 lunches and snacks, an Enchanted Forest, a Pooh Corner, a Secret Garden, a Studio Rainbow, Trike Town, Gym, and Playground.  Dozens of field trips including a few to our farm.  Zip lines, ball pits, trampolines and water days.  A hiking trail named Sarah's Path and the most incredible adaptive and accessible treehouse.  Six art shows, 6 open houses and 6 Follies.

Countless hugs, a few tears and even more giggles.  Immeasurable teachable moments, opportunities seized to show my kids that there's a spot for everyone at the playground, the circle, the table and in the world. There's always a way.

This place has laid the foundation for not just inclusive education but an inclusive outlook on life.  Six first days, 6 graduations and 6 last days.  This was the last of the last.  Thank you to Jowonio for taking care of our babies who are no longer babies for 6 years ❤️
