Sweet as Syrup

Last weekend, we headed to Cedarvale Maple Syrup Company for their annual spring open house. We learned about the collection and boiling processes in the "Sugar Shack" and got to try some of the unrefined syrup straight out of the buckets, then headed out to the woods for a hike among the maple trees, and even got to taste the finished product, maple syrup and maple cream, in the little tasting room.  We look forward to this every year and Sunday's adventure was as sweet as ever.
