On the Shores of Lake Ontario

Reed, Willa and their parents took a quick trip up to Oswego earlier this summer.  We had lunch with Little Grandma at Rudy's, hit the shore for collecting lake rocks and skipping stones and hit a favorite playground on our way out of the Port City!

...how about you, you, you?  Reed and Willa went a few weeks ago and were excited to spend a lot of time at the penguins' exhibit, always one of their favorites.

Empowerment 360

This summer, while Willa is at her summer program at Jowonio, Reed has participated in a mind-body heath and fitness program for 3rd-6th graders called "Empowerment 360".  Reed's best friend, Miller, also did the same program.  Reed loved the whole program and learned so much!  

Mud-Masked Bandits

And sometimes when Reed and his dad are out at guitar lessons, Willa and her mom become the mud-masked bandits at Stones Throw Spa!

Our Guitar Hero

Reed began taking guitar lessons this summer from

a fantastic instructor, Gordon Moore, and he has been consistently learning a song each week and is now easily reading tabs (guitar music).  He loves playing at parks and for Willa's class at Jowonio!  

Baltimore Woods

Earlier this summer, Reed led us all on a long day-hike through Baltimore Woods to share the magical places he discovered on a recent class field trip.  From ponds to creeks to the Elevator Tree, he led us low and high and showed us his favorite places at this amazing park.
