Split Rockers
Reed and Willa enjoyed spontaneous afternoon stop at Split Rock Elementary's playground one afternoon last week!
"Fit to Be Tied"
After months of planning and hard work and preparation, Reed and Willa and their entire extended family held the first annual "Fit to Be Tied", a 5K/3K memorial run and walk in memory of Bob Palmer, aka Pa Beard. Over 300 people were involved as walkers, runners, volunteers and spectators! The event was held in Pa's beloved Onondaga Lake Park and we raised over $10,000 for the Amyloidosis Center at Boston Medical Center, where Pa received such innovative and compassionate care. We plan for the to be an annual event and already have the park reserved for May 21st, 2017!
Ithaca Adventures
Reed's mom and dad stole him away for a special adventure day last week, just the three of them (Willa, who we missed, was in her beloved Koala Class at Jowonio that day). We went to the Museum of the Earth, which was perfect for a budding paleontologist like Reed. We then hiked to the base of Taughannock Falls and finally ended our adventure with a late lunch out. It's rare to spend time as a threesome and we are grateful for opportunities like these that let us focus on the amazingness of our Reed!

Mother's Day
Reed is always agreeable to smiling with his mom and on Mother's Day, he was happy to oblige her request for a picture with her first baby, the one who made her a mother!
