Sweet as Syrup

Reed, Willa and their parents headed up the Cedarvale Maple Syrup Company during one of their maple open houses recently and we were able to spend some time in the sugar shack and in the maple groves.  Such a sweet afternoon!

Jowonio Follies, v. 6.0

Willa performed in her last Jowonio Follies recently and, fittingly, the Treehouse Room sang "Lean on Me" on stage.  This is our family's sixth, and final,  Follies and it was bittersweet. We will forever treasure our memories of these special nights and all the special people that put their hearts and souls into making sure each kid can shine in their own brightest way, during the Follies and every day.

Easy Like a Sunday Morning

Dinosaurs, books, games and coffee.  That's how it goes on a Sunday morning at home.

Leprechauns Everywhere

In celebration of St. Patrick's Day, Reed and Willa built a leprechaun trap and baited it with gold coins.  While the trap was sprung overnight, the little leprechauns must have escaped because they cause mischief all over, including rainbows drawn on all the windows and evidence of a potty-break.  Reed, in all his Irish glory, decided to dress the part for school that day, too!

Our Winter Storm Stella

Reed and Willa were delighted by winter's last big hurrah named after their favorite pup!

Carded!

One of the major milestones and perks of being five in our family is the chance to get your own library card.  Willa proudly wrote her name on the line of that card and she's now an official patron of the Onondaga County Library System.

All Heart...

...that's what this kid is.  Reed worked to raise money for the American Heart Association earlier this spring and was then top fundraiser at Rockwell Elementary!  Go Reed!
