On our last morning, we took a walk on a boardwalk that lead us through tidal pools and a renouned bird sanctuary. Then we headed to Uncle Bill's Pancake House for the traditional Palmer send-off breakfast. After an uneventful drive home, we made it back to the farm for most of the next CSA pick-up. We all had an amazing vacation at the beach and already have it planned again for next year!

Dolphin Cruising
Reed, Willa and their beach crew took a dolphin cruise around Cape May Point one evening. We were lucky to see many dolphins swimming alongside the boat, plus we got to see the Cape May Lighthouse and the concrete shipwreck from a different point of view. While it was challenging to take any good pictures of the dolphins, we did get to take a few, fun family photos.
Catching Some Waves
I'm Reed, Willa, their parents, Aunt Jenny, Uncle Kev and MooBa spent their days on the beach. We were fortunate to have condo right across from the ocean and after having breakfast and coffee, we'd pack up and cross the street to the beach, boogie boards in tow! Reed and Willa shared their family's love of the ocean and happily played all day in the salt water and sand. Due to recent knee surgery, Mooba had to stay out of the water but plans to swim again next year!
Cape May or Bust!
We left on a Saturday afternoon in early August immediately following a CSA pick-up for a couple days at the Jersey Shore. Here we go, embarking on our trip!
Take a Hiike!
That's what we did one overcast afternoon in early August. Reed, Willa, their parents and Stella Blue explored Hieberg Forest both on land and in the water. We even met the tiniest toad we've ever seen on our adventure!
