More Splashing Down

Both Reed and Willa have not only enjoyed the water this summer but they've also enjoyed the various means of getting in the water. Reed is a fan of the "cannonball" while Willa likes to be thrown by her dad. No mater how they get into the water, they always manage to have a great time!

Our Little Fish!

Reed and Willa have been spending a lot of time swimming this summer and Willa is quickly gaining more confidence kicking around in her "swimmies". Reed has become a much stronger swimmer and recently has enjoyed the challenging of jumping in and swimming ot he bottom of the deep end to retrieve diving rings. In fact, on Saturday afternoon he was able to get all four of the diving rings in a single breath!

Berry Delicious!

We have continued our "berry" delicious summer with frequent berry hunting and picking adventures. Whether we are foraging wild black raspberries, such as in these photos, or visiting cultivated berry patches either at home or at neighboring farms, Reed and Willa enjoy picking berries almost as much as they enjoy eating them! And every once in a while, we notice that a little black furry berry thief is tagging along, clearing the lower branches of all the ripe fruit!

Science Center

(We have recently had a lot of difficultly uploading photos to the blog and apologize for the long delay between blog posts. We hope to be able to resolve the problem soon and be able to easily and frequently update the blog again). Following our adventures in Stewart Park, we ended our Ithaca adventure afternoon with a visit to the Ithaca Science Center, one of Willa and Reed's favorite destinations.
