Sledding with Friends!
Last weekend, Reed and Willa and their parents enjoyed sharing an afternoon of fun outside in the snow with Jacob, Lilah, Sara and David and Eamon and Amie. Although Willa tired quickly, the rest of the gang make tracks in the snow for a long time before coming inside to share a meal and more fun!

Havin' a Ball with Willa!
Willa, despite her seemingly endless colds and winter ailments, has been very silly and joyful at 10 months old. She has a few words and her recent favorite is "see", which combined with a very directed point, is used to focus our attention on the details that delight her. She has been standing on her own and even took a few steps. However, she is a very speedy crawler and often races off to Reed's room when given an opportunity. Once she arrives there, Willa often dives face-first onto a Curious George floor cushion, giggling the whole time!

Sledding in the New Year!
Reed, Willa and their parents rang in the new year with their good friends Matt, Jen, Aniela and Wyatt. The two families played outside in the snow (Willa snoozed through this adventure) and shared a delicious meal after the sledding adventures. Happy new year 2013!
Puzzled?!?
Reed has recently developed an interest in working on puzzles and was delighted to find a puzzle of a photograph of him and his father working on a tractor under the Christmas tree. A few mornings later, he sat down and diligently, with a little assistance, completed the whole thing, all 100 pieces!
