Reunited...

...And it feels so good!  After spending every waking minute together over the winter break week, Reed and Willa were delighted to be reunited after their first day back at school!

American Ninja Warrior, Farm Style

On an unseasonably warm Saturday morning, Reed and Willa created and competed on a bale-formed obstacle course!  The higher the jump and the faster the run, the better!

Roller Derby

Reed and Willa recently used some of their saved money to buy roller skates and they've been skating up a storm in the pole barn and in the basement playroom!

Winterish Hike

This winter has been an odd mix of snowfall and melt-offs. Reed, Willa, thier parents and Stella Blue took a hike in Labrador Hollow recently where the ground was covered by snow but the temperatures were in the mid-50s. It made for a very comfortable romp in the woods!

The Strong Museum

Reed, Willa and their parents took their annual Winter Break day trip to the String Museum for a day of play!  The opportunists for fun there are limitless.  This year, favorite activities included the Butterfly Garden and pinball!

Bubbles, Bubbles Everywhere

Willa received many wonderful gifts for her birthday but a bubble machine from Aunt Jenny and Uncle Kev was certainly one of her favorites.  Willa loves bubbles almost as much as she loves them!

Jowonio Art Show, v. 6.0

Reed and Willa and their parents attended the 6th consequetive Jowonio Art Show which has included the Luton kids' creations.  The first show we attended was a week before Willa was born and this one, 5 years later, will be our last.  Beautiful art work and beautiful memories of a place where all children can play, create and grow!

Tumbling into Five

I'm Willa held her birthday party at her gymnastics studio, West Side Gymnastics.  Despite the illness that went through her preschool class causing many of her friends to have to stay home, a crew of 12 joined Willa to bounce, balance, swing, somersault, and dive into birthday fun!

A Whole-Hand-Old

A whole-hand old! Happy high-five on February 18th to this beloved little one, whose smile is only outshone by her spirit. She burst into this world on her own terms, waiting for no one and trusting herself, and that's how she continues to tackle each day, reminding us that where there's a Willa, there's a way 💗

Little Dribblers

Another season of basketball wrapped up a few weeks ago and, once again, Reed and Willa played and their parents helped coach the Onondaga Tigers Little Dribblers program.  Next year, Willa will be officially old enough to join the program and Reed will move up to the next level of Dribblers.  As we say at the end of every practice: "Go Tigers!".

Winter Wonderland

A heavy snowfall yeilded a 4 day weekend for Reed and Willa who spent most of the time playing in what we affectionately call "Winter Wonderland", a annually-occurring huge pile of snow that their dad pushes together with a tractor and plow.  This pile is great for sliding down, climbing up, tunneling through and , of course, games of "King or Queen of the Mountain"!

The Creatures of Stones Throw Farm

Here on our farm, we are lucky to have a diverse animal populations, including our pets, or chickens and quite a few dinosaurs including the rare Tyrannosaurus-Reed!
