Pumpkin Patch Party!

A week after his actual birthday, Reed celebrated with his friend at Tim's Pumpkin Patch. The kids had a fabulous  time meeting the animals, taking a tractor ride, playing in the hay bale maze, choosing pumpkins, smashing a piñata, and eating pizza and cider donuts!  It was a gorgeous fall day for a very special party for a very special kid!

Happy Birthday to Reed!

Reed turned 7 on September 26th and spent the morning playing soccer and then celebrating via FaceTime with Mooba, Pa, Uncle Kevin and Jenny in Boston.  Then the party continued on with pizza and chocolate cake (Reed's choice) with Willa, Reed's mom and dad, Booba and Pa, and Little Grandma and Aunt Kathy.  It was a wonderful birthday and Reed had a wonderful time! 

A New Point of View

Everyday for 7 years now, this smiling face has helped us to see the world from a different point of view. We couldn't be prouder of this silly, sweet, strong, gentle soul! 

Reed's Opening Night

Reed's mom recently entered a photograph of him into a local photography competition and it was selected as a finalist.  We were all invited to the opening reception at the Everson Museum and Reed was delighted to find him image on the wall in one of his favorite places! 

Adventures in Liverpool

Reed and Willa spent a recent afternoon exploring in Liverpool, taking in the "red playground" and the sights of Onondaga Lake.  Much to his nom's chagrin, Reed spent a lot of time "jumping the ditch", an activity that their mom and Uncle Kevin did a lot as kids as they crossed from Mooba and Pa's house into Onondaga Lake Park.  Fortunately, Reed did bit meet the same fate that young Uncle Kevin did once.  Reed managed to stay cleanish and did not land face first in the mud!

Last Splashes of the Season

Swimming season wound down as the fall temperatures crept in to CNY.  We had a great pool season and can't wait until next year to see what our little fish will do next!

Our Newest Koala Kid!

Willa followed in her big brother's footprints and is now a proud Koala Kid in the Koala Room at Jowonio.  Willa has known a few teachers in her new class since she was born; Reed was a student in the Koala Room when his little sister arrived and she's always been welcomed into this special place, first as a younger sibling and now as a full-fledged Koala!
