Our Rad Flyers

Reed and Willa have been enthusiastically learning the art of playing frisbee with their Rad Flyer flying discs.  Reed has even been working on "spin jamming" (spinning a frisbee on a fingertip).

Soccer Stars

Reed is enjoying playing soccer at King Park this spring. He played with one of his friends from kindergarten, Abby, and Willa spends the practices playing on the playground and seeing the fields from a different point of view!

Sunshine and Smiles...

...on Mooba and Pa's deck!

Adventures in Ithaca!

Reed and his mom took a day trip to the Museum of the Earth in Ithaca a few weeks ago.  Our budding paleontologist enjoyed looking at the skeletons and finding his own fossils.  We then traveled down to Cornell to try to get lunch at a dining hall.  However, much to their surprise, it was Slope Day at Cornell.  So they took a hike in Cascadilla Gorge and found that Ithaca truly is "gorges".

Parking it in Marcellus...

Reed and Willa spent a spring afternoon exploring the playgrounds and trails of one of their favorite places: Marcellus Park!

Somewhere Under the Rainbow....

In Between the Raindrops...

...we had a little Mother's Day fun at Shove Park!

Our Tots and Tators

Our annual potato planting day occurred last week and, per tradition, it was a family affair! The kids helped work the potato seeder and checked the rows after seeding to make sure the potatoes were well buried. Stones Throw Farm is a true family farm!

"Yook at Dat!"

"Yook at Dat!", exclaims Willa at the front window as farm vehicles roll on down our road and work the adjacent fields!
