Reed, Willa and their parents took the annual trip up to Goodman's Tree Farm in Phoenix to select this year's Christmas Tree. As Reed says every year, "this is our best tree yet!".

All Aboard!
Reed, Willa and their parents took a trip on the Polar Express on the day after Thanksgiving. We left the Utica Train Station and traveled all the way to the North Pole, meeting the conductor, a bunch of elves and Santa on the way. It was a great way to kick off the holiday season!
Happy Thanksgiving
We all gathered to share a meal and our gratitude, to share lots of laughs and memories. We ended the evening with full bellies (Reed in particular) and fuller hearts.
The King and Queen...
...of our hearts. Keeping us smiling and laughing and remembering that life goes on despite heartache. We love these two little people so much and are forever grateful for these blessings.

Our Beloved "Pa-Beard"
Reed and Willa's beloved "Pa-Beard" passed away on October 30th in Boston after a brave and exhausting fight against amyloidosis. He was surrounded by his family, made his own decisions, was aware and at peace and not in pain. We are heartbroken. The magnitude of our loss is only trumped by our gratitude for his loving and wise presence in our lives and our cherished memories. Here is a link to his obituary and a few photos of beautiful moments from this past summer.

Zoo Boo!
Reed and Willa and their parents attended the Zoo Boo to celebrate Halloween! The enjoyed trick or treating among the animals, playing games, jumping and climbing in the bounce houses, and snacking on one of their favorite snacks: popcorn! Captain Reed and Sophia the First had a boo-time at the Zoo Boo!

"Our Farm"...
...which actually is the name of the Golub Family farm, another fall destination for Reed, Willa and their parents.
Swinging into Rohe Farm
Our annual family visit to Rohe Farm happened a few weeks ago and Reed and Willa enjoyed all their fun favorites at the farm.
