Earth Day Everday

Working the fields, playing in the soil, getting their hands dirty, taking a leap and stopping to smell the flowers....that's how Reed and Willa celebrate Earth Day everyday here at the farm.

Spring has Sprung...

...and Reed and Wiila have been enjoying breezy afternoons outside, playing ball and hide-and-go-seek, and riding Fella, Reed's beloved red ride-on-tractor which he generously shares with his little sister!

The Dynamic Duo

No, the Dynamic Duo we are referring to this time are neither Batman & Robin or Reed & Willa. They are are the awesome combination of a tractor and a steam engine. Reed loves his tractors, particularly vintage and old tractors. He also loves engines and is particularly fond of "steamies". Needless to say, he was in his glory when we visited the Eric Canal Park in Camilus yestersday and Reed got to sit on and "drive" a real steam tractor! He is living the dream...the steam tractor dream!

Put it in Park...

....Santaro Park, that is. Our beloved "blue playground" reopened for the season this past week and both Reed and Willa were thrilled to revisit such an old, dear friend!

Egg-ceptional Afternoon

Reed thought the his little sister needed lessons about hunting for Easter eggs, so we took advantage of Saturday's spring-like weather to play "egg hunting" outside. After the eggs were hidden, the kids scrambled :-) for them, pun intended! Egg-sellent way to spend an afternoon.

Jowonio Follies 2013

Reed and his classmates and teachers in the Koala Room performed on stage in the 2013 Jowonio Follies last week. They sang the song "Driving My Car", complete with props. Reed is near the center of these photos with a yellow hat and sunglasses. All the Koala kids did so well, but, of course, we thought Reedy stole the show! Our little star!
